| The push bar rebated double door set includes two push bar units – one with vertical bolts and the other with latch, this provides three-point locking for added security without compromising on safety. Allowing fire exit doors to be opened quickly and easily by anyone in an emergency, you’ll find these in premises open to the public and workplaces installed on outward-opening final exit doors, whether you call them push bars, panic bars or crash bars.
For use on rebated doors, the latch and bolts are reversible for use on the left or right doors and conforming to BS EN 1125, as well as being CE marked, Certifire accredited, tested to withstand a minimum of 200,000 uses and comes with a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty, as standard. The silver Exidor 285 push bar rebated double door set is designed for doors made from timber or steel, each measuring up to 1220mm wide and 2440mm high, and is fire rated in accordance with EN 1634-1.
The panic bolt also has an anti-thrust mechanism to prevent unauthorised retraction of the bolts and is supplied with bolt sockets that are easy to clean.
